Changes in the Appraisal Process Due to COVID19

Today, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) told the Enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to provide alternate options for appraisal requirements and employment verification requirements through May 17, 2020.

Appraisers can now complete drive-by or exterior appraisals, as directed by lenders.
